Full Stack Developer (NodeJS, React)

Job Description

• Design, build, and support high-quality customer-facing full stack applications with a strong backend focus (70-80%) primarily using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work on frontend development with React (2-3 years experience).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, proactively address performance, stability, scalability, security, and extensibility.
• Build cloud-native, event-driven applications using AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB).
• Participate in software design, architecture discussions, low-level design, code reviews, and write automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality engineers, and global teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Take ownership of features through the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5-7 years full stack development with strong backend expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Backend-heavy development focus.
• Frontend development experience with React (2-3 years), HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Amazon DynamoDB data modeling and access patterns (1-2 years preferred).
• Building cloud-native, scalable, secure, highly available applications using AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
• Automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
• CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Jenkins).
• Git-based source control and development workflows.
• Application monitoring, debugging, and production support.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Ability to participate in low-level design and architecture discussions.

Nice-to-Have

• Secondary databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Caching technologies such as Redis or Amazon ElastiCache.
• AWS Step Functions, SNS, EventBridge, IAM, EC2.
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Kubernetes.
• Frameworks like NestJS or Express.js.
