Freelance Physician / Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Role Overview

We are seeking a Physician / Advanced Clinical Practitioner with strong clinical and healthcare operations experience to support the development and validation of enterprise healthcare AI skills. The role will focus on clinical chart review, medical necessity assessment, utilization management, and rigorous evaluation of AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and healthcare workflow alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical chart and medical record reviews.and assess medical necessity, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Validate AI-generated clinical outputs for accuracy, safety, and completeness.
• Identify clinical errors, hallucinations, omissions, and potential patient-safety risks.
• Participate in multiple cycles of testing, error analysis, feedback, and refinement
• Validate AI evaluation results and provide evidence-based clinical feedback to the team.
• Create and validate clinician-grade golden datasets, test cases, and reference answers.

Required Skills & Experience

• MD/DO, MBBS, or equivalent physician qualification; Advanced Clinical Practitioner background may also be considered with 1+ years experience.
• Strong experience in clinical chart review, medical necessity, utilization management, and prior authorization/appeals.
• Excellent medical record synthesis and clinical reasoning skills.
• Experience with discharge summary review, triage, referral management, and care coordination.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and clinical workflows.
• Strong understanding of patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and healthcare documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate healthcare AI/LLM outputs and identify clinical errors.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and clinical teams.
• US Health Care Experience is preferred.
