About the role

Every business decision has a number behind it, and someone has to check whether that number holds up. As a Financial Analyst Intern at Crossing Infotech, you will be that someone. You will study budgets, costs and performance data, build simple models and explain what the figures mean for the business. You will work on real financial information and learn how analysts turn raw numbers into recommendations that management can act on.

This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship for people who enjoy numbers, structured thinking and explaining complex figures in simple words.

What you will do

• Build and update financial models in Excel for budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking
• Analyse income, expenses and margins to highlight trends and risks
• Calculate and interpret financial ratios such as liquidity, profitability and efficiency ratios
• Compare actual results against budgets and explain the variances
• Prepare monthly summaries, charts and short presentations for management
• Support cash flow tracking and simple scenario analysis
• Check source data for errors and keep all working files organised and traceable
• Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly review sessions

What we are looking for

• Good understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts)
• Knowledge of financial statements: balance sheet, income statement and cash flow
• Familiarity with Power BI or Google Sheets is a plus
• Exposure to financial modelling courses or certifications is a plus, not a must
• Analytical, structured thinking and attention to detail
• A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work

• Students or recent graduates from B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), BA (Economics), B.Sc (Statistics, Maths), CA, CMA or CFA students and related streams
• Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a model, case study or certification
• Anyone available to work full-time for the internship duration
