About the Role

Cityfurnish is looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts professional to manage core finance operations and work closely with the AVP and Founder. The role covers accounting, compliance, MIS, audits, cash flow and financial controls.

We are specifically looking for candidates who are strong in execution and can independently own Finance activities without requiring a large-company support structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly and annual book closure, accounting and reconciliations.
• Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, collections and ageing.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA, PF/ESIC and applicable statutory compliance.
• Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, GST and stock audits.
• Prepare MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgets and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury, banking and working capital.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOPs and approval workflows.
• Improve ERP usage, automation and finance processes.
• Manage and guide the Finance & Accounts team.
• Support the AVP and Founder with financial analysis and business decisions.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on accounting and independent book-closure experience.
• Good GST, TDS and statutory compliance knowledge.
• Experience with MIS, cash flow, working capital and audits.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting software skills.
• Good communication, ownership and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Comfortable using AI tools for reporting, analysis, automation or productivity will be an added advantage.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA or equivalent.
• Startup/e-commerce/D2C/retail/logistics experience is a plus.
