Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Finance professional to join our team in a role combining financial analysis, business partnering, financial planning and core finance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will go beyond traditional accounting and reporting and will be comfortable analysing financial and business data, identifying trends and opportunities, building financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing meaningful insights to management for business decision-making.

Qualifications

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business decisions.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins, profitability and key business metrics.
• Support business cases and financial evaluations for new initiatives, projects and investments.
• Support the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
• Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and investigate significant variances.
• Assist management in identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial performance.
• Develop dashboards and financial performance reports for management.
• Track and analyse key financial and operational KPIs.
• Work closely with the accounting team on month-end and year-end reporting.
• Support cash flow planning and working capital analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and statutory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Finance or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and business data.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Experience in preparing management reports and presenting financial insights.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the broader business context.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desirable
• CA/CFA qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Financial Planning or Corporate Finance.
• Experience working in a data-driven or technology-led organisation.
