Mission

• Provide definitions of the external geometry of the tire (contact area between the tire and the curing mold)
• Integrate both tire performance constraints and industrial constraints (mold manufacturing and usage)

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

0–5 years of experience in CAD design, mechanical design, automotive, tire, or related engineering domains.

• Hands-on Experience With CATIA V5/V6.
• CAD Models and nomenclature of the external geometry of the tire (tread and/or marking) that meet the tire specifications, as well as norms and regulations. These models integrate mold manufacturing /utilization, cost and standardization constraints :
• Updates existing CAD models (simple update and/or use of an existing master model)
• Model's creation for simple geometries with or without master models
• Model's creation for complex geometries with or without master models
• Estimate Performance for the design team using the CAD performance simulation models
• Build Parametric CAD models (master models) and associated documentation, used for the declinaison of a series of dimension or the representation performance area (sculpture or marking)
• Evolution of Methods and / or tools that improve quality or efficiency of the metier
• Animation of Processes, tools and methods training sessions
