About the role
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation systems associated with Honeywell EPKS C300, Emerson DCS (OCR-1100), and power plant control systems.
- Ensure reliable operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of field instruments including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, flow, pressure, level, and temperature instruments.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ENVEA Make SOx Analyzer, emission monitoring systems, and environmental compliance instrumentation.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in DCS, PLC, communication networks, I/O modules, controllers, and control loops to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Perform loop checking, commissioning, shutdown maintenance activities, alarm management, and system modifications while ensuring adherence to process safety and statutory requirements.
- Analyze instrument performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement reliability enhancement initiatives to improve plant availability.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for breakdown analysis, root cause identification, and timely resolution of process control issues.
- Maintain instrumentation documentation, calibration records, SOPs, P&IDs, and control philosophy documents in compliance with quality and safety standards.
