Deployment Engineer

Role Summary

Specializes in providing assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex systems (e.g., electro/mechanical equipment, computer, complex software, or networked and wireless systems).

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate Mavenir products for our global customers.
• Integration & Testing with Telecom products.
• Perform software and hardware configuration changes related to Mavenir products in customer test Lab or live environments.
• Create project-related documentation such as method of procedures, acceptance testing documentation, high- and low-level designs.
• Participate in technical workshops, customer meetings and other project activities (End to End Delivery).
• Communicate and cooperate with customer representatives and project team on technical issues, deliveries, and project lifecycle plans.

Job Requirements

• Good understanding on Dockers & Kubernetes, OCP, AWS.and VMware Tanzu.
• Good understanding on Operating systems (Linux), Virtualization (VMware & other Hypervisors), usage of networking Sniffers (Wireshark ) & O&M tools .
• Hands on any scripting language preferably UNIX / Linux, Python.
• Ability to visualize E2E network & sensitivity around handling live network. Working experience on L2 and L3 switches from HPE, Cisco and Dell, Load Balancer etc.
• Basics of Mobile and IP network working & call flow, Overview of ITU - T / ANSI, 3GPP telecom standards / protocol is desired.
