Supporting Actions

• Quality control:

Develop and ensure implementation of quality control parameters so as to produce the best quality product as per the requirement of the customers.

• Develops quality control norms for incoming raw materials, packing material, water, processes & finished products. Creates awareness of the plant & quality control.
• Review quality control reports and suggests remedial measures for quality variances.
• Arrange for export inspection. Product audit for export consignment related to quality, packing condition etc.
• Ensure calibration of test equipment & their annual maintenance as per AMC
• Process Control:
• Established and implement quality control techniques across the organization.
• Review daily reports to detect process failures and communicate to concerned functioning personnel, and ensure corrective actions.
• Suggests remedial measures.
• Proactive measures on process parameters to avoid
• People Development: Development of skilled, motivated & performance-oriented workforce.
• Identify skill gaps. Structure suitable training program & monitor effectively.
• Implement an agreed action plan for improving OHS. Identify and reward a suitable person for reward & recognition. Plan for career development for subordinates.
• System Management:
• Initiate, implement & monitor quality systems and ensure implementation of WCM activities
• Co-ordinate activities related to external audits of BIS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
• Ensure corrective & preventive actions to close the non- conformances / observations of auditors as and when required.
• Create awareness about WCM activities & monitor adoption of WCM practices.
• New Developments:
• Play key role in conceiving, experimenting, and developing cost effective new products, processes and formulations to meet the customer expectations and market demand.
• Co-ordinate with the marketing department to understand the new requirements.
• Discusses with the production department and analyzes the existing products/ processes.
• Helps to develop new products / processes. Value addition to existing products.
• New quality product development. Provide samples of new product to different customers as per marketing dept. advice.
• Also, dispatch samples of various existing products to different customers as per marketing dept. to increase market share and approach to new, customer.
• Customer Support:
• Responsible for providing technical support to marketing department.
• Co-ordinate with the marketing head for providing customer service on quality aspects.
• Suitably meet the expectations of internal customers. To attend to customer complaints about quality matters.
• Co-ordinate third party inspection as per marketing demand and customer requirement regarding finished goods dispatch.
• Cost Optimization:
• Cost control & optimize departmental expenditures.
• Ensure the best use of resources, minimize wastage of costly chemicals & their proper use, and avoid breakage of glass wares.
• Educate raw material and packing material suppliers on quality related issues and ensure always supply better quality and cost effective.
• Earn money through testing of samples of an outside party by utilizing an existing facility.
• Safety:
• Implement the consequence management framework, ensure adherence to safety under intense focus and build safety as a non-negotiable culture pillar.
• People Development and Management
• Ensure the development, guidance, and motivation of subordinates to ensure superior performance and employee satisfaction.
