Why the role exists
The manager owns delivery of client commitments, balancing scope, people and timelines across several active projects. Delivery here means client service levels, transition projects and steady-state accounts running in parallel.
- What you would run
- Own delivery of multiple projects against scope, schedule and budget
- Plan resources across teams and resolve conflicts between projects
- Run status reviews and keep clients informed with honest updates
- Manage risks, dependencies and change requests
- Step in on escalations and agree recovery plans
- Coach project managers and team leads
- Track delivery metrics such as utilisation, slippage and client satisfaction
- Who we want
- 7 to 12 years in delivery or programme management
- Graduate degree in engineering, management or a related subject
- Experience delivering client projects and leading project managers
- Strong planning, estimation and stakeholder skills
- Comfort with project tools and delivery reporting
- Calm handling of escalations
Extras we value
- PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum credentials
- Experience with both agile and fixed-scope delivery
- Experience managing distributed teams
