MailerMen is hiring a Data Engineer for our Pune team. You will build dependable data pipelines and data-processing systems that support product decisions and operational reporting. We expect around two years of professional experience and the ability to work independently on well-scoped problems. The role is fully remote, with the Pune team as your home base for occasional meetups.

Department: Engineering - Data Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

Improve pipeline performance and operational reliability.
Design data models and maintain reliable datasets.
Support analytics teams with curated, well-documented datasets.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
Monitor pipeline quality, failures and data consistency.
Tune warehouse queries and storage layouts for cost and speed.
Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, Mathematics or related field preferred.
Good to have: Docker, Kafka, AWS, Databricks, Apache Spark, Redshift
