About the role

Every business sits on a pile of numbers that nobody has had time to read. As a Data Analyst Intern at Crossing Infotech, your job is to read them, make sense of them, and tell the team what they mean. You will work on real business data, not textbook samples, and your dashboards and reports will be used by the people making day-to-day decisions.

• This is a hands-on, full-time remote internship built for people who enjoy spotting patterns, asking why a number moved, and turning a messy spreadsheet into a clear story.

What you will do

• Collect, clean and organise data from spreadsheets, databases and internal tools
• Write SQL queries to pull the exact data the team needs
• Build interactive dashboards in Power BI and structured reports in Excel
• Use Python (Pandas) to automate repetitive data cleaning where possible
• Track key business metrics and highlight trends, dips and opportunities
• Prepare short weekly summaries that explain findings in plain language
• Check data for errors, duplicates and gaps before it reaches a report
• Work with team members to understand what questions the data needs to answer

What we are looking for

• Good working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts)
• Basic to intermediate SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters)
• Familiarity with Power BI or a similar tool such as Tableau or Looker Studio
• Basic Python with Pandas is a plus, not a must
• Clear written communication, so your insights are easy to follow
• A careful, detail-focused way of working
• A stable laptop and reliable internet connection for full-time remote work

• Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a project, a portfolio or a certification
• Anyone available to work full-time for the internship duration
