Cyber Security Engineer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security across all our startups. You’ll proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage vulnerabilities, and help drive our organization toward SOC 2 and broader security compliance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support SOC 2 compliance and audit readiness activities
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) using tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Qualys
• Identify and remediate risks aligned with the OWASP Top 10
• Monitor security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel)
• Manage Azure security controls (Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor)
• Configure and maintain firewalls and WAF policies
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) practices across systems
• Support endpoint security (EDR) monitoring and response
• Lead incident response activities when security events occur
• Define and maintain security policies and conduct risk assessments
• Implement compliance automation using tools like Sprinto or Vanta
• Write automation and tooling scripts using Python or Bash on Linux systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; equivalent practical experience is welcome.
