About the role
Credit Analyst
The credit team evaluates applications and monitors existing accounts. It belongs to a domestic insurance company modernising its operations team. The company is moving from paper-heavy routines to something more systematic, one team at a time. The work covers lending against policies and investment-portfolio credit checks, which is a smaller but growing book.
What the team is responsible for
- The analyst reads financial statements and bank data, builds a view of repayment capacity and recommends whether and how much to lend.
- Write credit memos with a clear recommendation and stated risks
- Verify information through site visits and calls where needed
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of stress
- Track covenants and renewal dates
How the team decides
Files are assigned by ticket size, reviewed by the credit manager and discussed at a weekly committee. The company has partnered with Flexiple, a managed marketplace that helps global companies build strong teams in India. The position is in Mumbai or Gurugram (hybrid).
- What we look for
- 2 to 6 years in credit analysis or lending
- Structured, concise writing
- Graduate degree in commerce, finance or economics; CA, CFA or MBA preferred
- Experience in credit assessment, lending or financial analysis
- Strong financial-statement and cash-flow analysis skills
HR screening, an assignment, a panel interview with the team, then a culture conversation. Your profile stays on file, so one application can be matched to other suitable roles later.
