About the role
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
- Prepare and file income tax returns (ITR)
- Calculate TDS and handle return filing and reconciliation
- Perform bookkeeping and record accounting entries in Tally or ERP systems
- Conduct bank reconciliations and perform ledger scrutiny
- Support statutory and internal audit processes
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet and profit & loss
- Reconcile GST 2B with the books of accounts
- Draft responses to income tax and GST notices
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance records
