We are looking for a CAPEX User Lead – Civil and Structure to join the PATEXPANSION – User Management team in Patalganga, India. In this role, you will help shape major expansion projects by ensuring that civil and structural solutions support operational excellence, safety, quality, long-term flexibility, and future growth.

The role & your impact

As a key member of the expansion program, you will act as the Civil and Structure User Lead for medium and complex CAPEX projects. You will represent business and operational needs throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and design through construction, commissioning, and handover. Your contributions will directly support successful facility expansion and sustainable long-term site development.

Your Key Responsibilities In This Role

• Lead civil and structural user activities from project definition through operational handover.
• Define, maintain, and approve user requirements, installation requirements, design criteria, and acceptance requirements.
• Review building layouts, structural systems, foundations, plot plans, equipment interfaces, and construction concepts.
• Ensure designs support process needs, equipment installation, safety requirements, maintenance access, hygienic design, and future expansions.
• Coordinate interfaces across process, mechanical, electrical, automation, utilities, environmental, and fire protection disciplines.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction, Quality, EHS, contractors, and external engineering partners.
• Participate in risk assessments, constructability reviews, inspections, commissioning, operational readiness activities, and project handovers.
• Support site development planning and Technical Development Plan activities for future facility and infrastructure investments.
• What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role
• B.E/Btech in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of relevant technical experience, including significant experience with industrial or process-industry facilities.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction, facility engineering, site development, or CAPEX project execution.
• Strong knowledge of industrial buildings, structural systems, foundations, facility layouts, construction interfaces, and site development.
• Experience with design reviews, constructability assessments, contractor coordination, inspections, commissioning, and project handover.
• Knowledge of EHS, fire protection, food safety, hygienic design, regulatory requirements, and construction standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple disciplines and external partners.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Experience supporting large-scale industrial expansion projects.
• Experience contributing to master planning, site development, or long-term facility strategy.
• Interest in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and lifecycle asset management.
