Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Designer with a solid background in Research and Development (R&D) to assist our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, testing, and refinement of mechanical components and systems, bringing innovative concepts to life. This role requires strong analytical abilities, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for advancing mechanical design through research-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience leading the design of complex assemblies and systems from concept to production
• Expertise using Nx/Teamcenter as a primary CAD software
• Expertise in 3D/2D CAD, DFM/DFA, GD&T, material properties, and high-volume manufacturing techniques
• Candidate must be onsite in Redmond or Sunnyvale office

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical design, with demonstrated track record of shipping high-volume commercial products and/or designing complex electromechanical assemblies in a research/prototype environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent industry experience

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 . Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
