About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics Analyst to support the analysis of large-scale population and multi-omics datasets. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, clinical, and phenotypic data to generate actionable biological insights that support translational research.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large-scale biobank datasets, including genomic, phenotypic, and clinical data.
• Perform statistical genetics analyses such as GWAS, PheWAS, Polygenic Risk Score (PRS) analysis, and cohort-based association studies.
• Process, analyze, and integrate multi-omics datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and other emerging omics platforms.
• Develop and implement reproducible bioinformatics and data analysis workflows using R and Python.
• Apply data quality control, normalization, harmonization, and exploratory data analysis methodologies.
• Create insightful visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to scientific and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with biologists, data scientists, and cross-functional research teams to address scientific questions.
• Stay current with advancements in bioinformatics, statistical genetics, population genomics, and multi-omics technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in bioinformatics or omics data analysis.
• Hands-on experience analyzing large-scale biobank or cohort datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in statistical genetics, population genomics, or translational bioinformatics.
• Experience performing GWAS, PheWAS, PRS, Mendelian Randomization, or causal inference analyses.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and high-performance computing environments.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), real-world evidence (RWE), or clinical datasets.
• Track record of scientific publications and collaborative research in genomics or multi-omics studies.
