MailerMen is looking for a Backend Developer to join our growing Bangalore engineering group. You will build reliable APIs, services and database-driven features, working closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable backend systems. With one year of experience behind you, you'll contribute directly to production systems from your first sprint. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Bangalore office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.

Department: Engineering - Backend Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
• Debug production issues and improve application performance.
• Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Design database schemas, queries and data-access logic.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Contribute to API documentation and internal developer guides.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field preferred.
• Good to have: Prisma, TypeScript, Redis, NestJS, Express.js, PostgreSQL
