MailerMen has an opening for a Backend Developer based out of Indore. You will build reliable APIs, services and database-driven features, working closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable backend systems. This role suits an early-career engineer with about a year of hands-on experience who wants to take on more ownership. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Indore office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.

Department: Engineering - Backend Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement authentication, authorization and application security practices.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Design database schemas, queries and data-access logic.
• Write clean, maintainable and tested backend code.
• Contribute to API documentation and internal developer guides.
• Support background jobs, queues and scheduled tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field preferred.
• Good to have: TypeScript, Nginx, NestJS, AWS, Redis, Docker
