About The Department

  • The Communication Services team delivers secure and reliable communications infrastructure across Franklin Templeton’s global enterprise. Engineers, infrastructure specialists, operations teams, and application partners work together to support business-critical connectivity, improve operational efficiency, and expand network automation capabilities. The team promotes innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while providing opportunities to work with modern technologies and large-scale transformation initiatives.

  • You will manage global voice and network services.
  • You will maintain and enhance network automation frameworks.
  • You will support enterprise network operations.
  • You will improve operational efficiency through automation.

  • You will support network governance initiatives.
  • Strategic Responsibilities
  • You will mentor engineers on automation practices.

  • You will manage infrastructure operations.
  • You will deliver small and medium automation projects.
  • You will recommend process and tooling improvements.

Experience

  • Experience building network automation solutions.
  • Experience automating Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, or Infoblox platforms.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with data science and machine learning.
  • Experience operating in high-performance organizations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network operations.

Technical Skills

  • Network routing, switching, and security expertise.
  • BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Voice networking and communications technologies.
  • SIP trunking and Session Border Controllers.
  • Python, Perl, Jenkins, and Ansible scripting.
  • Network automation architecture and tooling.
  • Infrastructure and operational automation practices.
