Summary

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and analyzing various components of essential business systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous engagement in problem-solving activities are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring the stability and reliability of critical infrastructure services.

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Infrastructure Service Management.
  • Good To Have Skills: Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and techniques to detect and resolve system issues.
  • Experience in managing service requests and maintaining service level agreements effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex system interactions and troubleshoot multi-layered technical problems.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices to support continuous improvement.

Additional Information

  • The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Service Management.
  • This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
