About the role
- Desktop Application Packaging
- Package and repackage desktop applications using MSI, MSIX, APP-V, and related technologies.
- Create and customize installation packages, transforms (MSTs), and deployment scripts.
- Deploy and manage applications through SCCM/MECM, Intune, and other endpoint management tools.
- Perform application compatibility testing and validation across Windows environments.
- Troubleshoot application installation, deployment, and packaging issues.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate packaging and deployment tasks.
- Coordinate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to gather packaging requirements.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and software governance standards.
- Manage application upgrades, patches, and version control processes.
- Maintain packaging documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.
