Application Engineer – NX (Mechanical Design)
- Experience: 3 to 5 years
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Key Skills
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX for mechanical design, 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
- Experience in mechanical component and tooling design using NX.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and tooling concepts.
- Basic knowledge of NX CAM, including toolpath generation and CNC machining processes.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and design standards.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate NX-based design solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers using Siemens NX for mechanical design.
- Support customers in 3D modeling, assembly, drafting, and tooling-related applications.
- Conduct NX product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Assist customers with NX implementation, deployment, and application-related issues.
- Provide basic support for NX CAM and manufacturing workflows.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable NX solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Travel to customer locations for training, demonstrations, implementation, and technical support.
