Job Summary

We're looking for an AI Engineer to design and ship GenAI products end to end. You'll own features from data layer through to interface, working directly with LLMs and the surrounding tooling ecosystem. This is a hands-on build role on a small team that moves fast and ships often.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy GenAI applications in Python: retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, and the APIs and UIs around them
• Work across the full stack — PostgreSQL and vector search for the data layer, backend services, and front-end interfaces
• Select and integrate models, frameworks, and third-party AI services; tune prompts, context strategies, and inference costs
• Instrument and measure quality, latency, and cost, then iterate based on what the numbers show
• Collaborate through Git-based workflows — small PRs, fast reviews, frequent merges to main
• Take features from rough idea to production in short cycles, with real users in the loop

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including the modern AI and data tooling built around it
• Hands-on experience across the AI stack: databases (strong PostgreSQL skills, plus vector stores), backend services, and front-end development
• Working proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow for model training, fine-tuning, and inference
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control practices (branching, code review, CI)
• Strong practical fluency with LLMs and the wider AI ecosystem — orchestration frameworks, embeddings, RAG, agents, evals, and model APIs
• A demonstrable track record of shipped outcomes in high-pressure, rapid-iteration environments; you can point to specific things you built, what they achieved, and how quickly
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward getting something working, then making it better
