This internship is built around practical accounts and reporting work: entering data in Tally, reconciling records, tracking invoices and payments, and preparing the MIS reports that management reads every week.

Role Overview

As an Account / MIS Executive Intern, you will work on structured accounting assignments under the guidance of experienced team members. You will learn how financial records are kept accurate, how mismatches are found and corrected, and how raw entries become clear reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Make accounting entries and verify data in Tally or similar accounting software
• Reconcile bank, vendor and ledger records to keep them accurate
• Build daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports in Excel
• Use pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP and charts to summarise data
• Track invoices, payments, expenses and outstanding balances
• Flag mismatches, duplicates and missing entries early
• Keep files organised so every report can be traced back to its source
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Who Can Apply
• Freshers, entry-level candidates, or students pursuing or completing B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), BA (Economics), or CA and CMA inter levels
• Candidates from any degree with strong Excel skills and an interest in accounts
• Self-driven learners comfortable with structured remote work
• Candidates available to work full-time for the internship period
• Required Skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
• Basic understanding of accounting terms such as debit, credit, ledger and journal entry
• Accuracy and the habit of double-checking work
• Ability to meet daily and weekly reporting deadlines
• Comfort with Google Sheets and basic online tools
• A laptop and a stable internet connection for remote work
• Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Tally
• An Excel report or accounting course certificate
• Basic awareness of GST and TDS concepts
